It was a busy week for GWL Skatepark Corp. leading up to Easter, starting with a celebratory ribbon-cutting at the newly installed sign in CVS field marking the location for the future GWL Skatepark in Memory of Dale Hirrel. Many local residents and business owners attended the momentous event for our effort, and News 12’s Blaise Gomez aired a nice clip, giving GWL Skatepark Corp. the added publicity we really need.
The sign serves as a point-of-reference for the community and all who travel through it to learn about our effort, read about our beloved Dale Hirrel, keep track of fundraising successes, and see special announcements (in the center of the sign) regarding events, volunteer efforts, etc.
