Event Information

On Saturday October 26^th 2024, from 8:00am – 11:00pm GWL Skatepark Corp. will host their 2nd Annual “DoItForDale!” 5K Run/Walk which will begin at Thomas P. Morahan Waterfront Park and take a course through the village of Greenwood Lake, New York. Last year’s event included almost 150 participants so register early. Race Day check-in time: 8:00am, Race start time: 9:00am. Early-bird registration runs until Friday, October 11^th ($25.00), regular pre-registration from Saturday, October 12^th up until race day ($30.00) and race day registration in-person on Saturday, October 26^th ($35.00). Register early to ensure your t-shirt on race-day (guaranteed only for Early Bird registrants). After October 11th and up to race-day on October 26th, registrants may receive their T-shirt via US mail after the event.

Working in partnership with the Village of Greenwood Lake and Super Race Systems, a professional race organizer, the event is open to both professional and fun runners / walkers. All runners will receive a commemorative T-Shirt, race bib and timing device with their registration.

All profits from the race will be donated to the GWL Skatepark Corporation a registered 501c3 charity in their continued efforts to raise the necessary funds to construct a professional concrete skatepark in the town of Greenwood Lake which will benefit the local and surrounding communities. Last year’s event drew almost 150 runners, so let’s make the 2nd Annual Do it for Dale 5K Run/Walk another huge success!
