SUMMARY:2nd Annual #doitfordale Skate Contest
DESCRIPTION:GWL Skatepark Corp. is proud to announce the Second Annual #doitfordale Skate Contest\, a.k.a. The Mother of all Skate Contests\, to be held on Sunday\, May 12 in the parking lot of Thomas P. Morahan Waterfront Park\, 7 Windermere Ave\, Greenwood Lake\, NY 10925. Competitors of all ages are invited to enter and help celebrate the life of Dale Hirrel\, remembering him as the inspirational friend and skateboarder that he was. \n\nVenue: The contest will take place this year on a pop-up park of various ramps\, boxes and rails generously donated by George Berger of J2 Customs\, all set up in the parking lot of the Greenwood Lake town beach. This event is rain or shine\, thanks to the donation of the use of tents by Greenwood Lake’s mayor\, Jesse Dwyer.\nAge Groups: age 10 and under / ages 11-17 / age 18 & older\nCompetitions: Three minutes to do your best line\, Best Trick competition and more events.\nRegistration/Contest: Registration Fee is only $15 and registration starts at 10:30 am to be followed by a 12:00 start time for the contest\nPrizes: The $15 fee puts each competitor on a fast-track to a slew of amazing skate/bmx prizes along with multiple bonus prizes that you can share with your mom (it is Mother’s Day after all). All prizes were donated by our many sponsors – Orange County Snowboards\, Burton\, Vans\, Mexican Zingo\, Four Brothers Pizza\, Greenwood Lake Bagels\, Fetch\, J2Customs\, Nimbus\, Sit and Chat Diner\, Powers Skateboards\, Radiating Wellness\, Taco Hombre\, Animal Bikes\, Dottie Audrey’s Stimulus and Greenwood Lake Ice Cream Shack.
