SUMMARY:1st Annual #doitfordale Skate Contest
DESCRIPTION:On April 30th of 2016\, the Hirrel family and all of Greenwood Lake lost a son. At the young age of 16\, Dale Hirrel lost his life as a passenger in an automobile accident. The anniversary of that date is approaching\, and we at GWL Skatepark Corp. would like to start remembering Dale the best way we know how. \nGWL Skatepark Corp.\, is proud to announce the First Annual #doitfordale Skate Contest\, to be held on Sunday April 29th in the parking lot of the Greenwood Lake Police Department at 16 Church Street\, Greenwood Lake\, NY 10925. Skaters of all ages are invited to compete and help celebrate Dale’s life\, remembering him as the inspirational friend and skateboarder that he was. \n\nVenue: The contest will take place this year on a pop-up park of various ramps\, boxes and rails generously donated by George Berger of Junior’s Skate and Sport\, all set up in the parking lot of the Greenwood Lake Police Department.\nAge Groups: age 10 and under / ages 11-17 / age 18 & older\nCompetitions: Three minutes to do your best line\, Best Trick competition and more events.\nRegistration/Contest: Registration Fee is only $15 and registration starts at 10:30 am to be followed by a 12:00 start time for the contest\nPrizes: The $15 fee puts each competitor on a fast-track to a slew of amazing prizes donated by our many sponsors – Mountain Creek\, Vans\, Burton\, Junior’s Sport and Skate\, Nimbus Skateboards\, Stimulus Skateboards and more. Compete and win!\n\nCome be a part of GWL Skatepark history and lay it down for all to see in memory of Dale Hirrel.
